Conduct Policy

Our basketball club program has guidelines that are designed to create a positive and productive environment for all players. These guidelines include but are not limited to:

  1. Respect for coaches, teammates, opponents, and Referees

  2. Attendance at all practices and games, unless excused by a coach

  3. Promptness for practices and games (25 mins Prior)

  4. Participation in all team activities, such as team meetings and events

  5. Compliance with our code of conduct, which prohibits bullying, harassment, and discrimination

  6. Understanding Triple Threat is Priority during Spring and Fall Seasons if you participate on our Top team. Players who accept the position on a Triple Threat Travel team MUST be Basketball first in the season they commit and are strictly with Triple Threat for the Season. ( Only school teams may take precedence when appropriate and conflicts communicated in advance) Team hopping or lack of commitment due to other conflicts may result in being moved down to a non travel team.

  7. Social Media is expected to be clean and positive/respectful. Social Media is your brand and people are watching at all times, Especially when college recruitment starts.

  8. Travel Compliance:

During team travel, players are expected to:

    • Follow coach and chaperone instructions

    • Respect hotels, Airbnb, transportation, and facilities

    • Maintain appropriate behavior and curfews

    • Stay with assigned groups and teammates

(Failure to follow guidelines when on the road may result in immediate termination from the program as we CAN NOT be responsible for kids who are not following guidelines when traveling with us)

  9. MOST OF ALL - Parents and guardians play a major role in helping create a positive experience for all athletes.

    Parents are expected to:

    • Encourage sportsmanship and positive behavior

    • Respect coaches, officials, players, and spectators

    • Have a 24 hr rule before speaking to coaches to allow for emotions to settle.

    • Avoid coaching from the sidelines

    • Support team decisions and communicate concerns respectfully

    • Refrain from negative social media behavior related to the program

(Unsportsmanlike conduct from spectators may lead to removal from events or additional disciplinary action)

If a registered player/Parent fails to follow these guidelines, we reserve the right to cut that player from the program. The decision to cut a player will be made by our coaching staff in consultation with our program director.

Before cutting a player, we will provide a verbal and written warning to the player and their parent or guardian, outlining the behavior that needs to be improved and the consequences of not doing so. If the behavior does not improve after the warning, we will proceed with cutting the player from the program.

We understand that cutting a registered player is a serious decision and we will make every effort to communicate clearly and respectfully with the player and their family throughout the process.

By registering for our basketball club program, players and their parents or guardians acknowledge and agree to comply with our program guidelines and the consequences of not doing so.
